Brands setting a budget
Use the Reel number to sanity-check a quote. If five creators at this size cost more than you want to spend, pinned comments and reposts put your name in front of the same followers for a fraction of it.

Start from the market range, then move up if your engagement is strong or the brand wants usage rights. The second card is money you can add without making a new post.
Get paid for pins and repostsHow we calculate it
Sponsored Reel. We use the starting fees from Later's 2025 Creator Rates Report, a survey of more than 500 creators: $100 to $200 for nano (under 10K), $200 to $1,000 for micro (10K to 100K), $1,500 to $5,000 for mid-tier (100K to 500K) and $5,000 to $7,000 or more for macro. Your estimate sits further up the range the bigger the account is within its tier, and moves up or down a step with engagement.
Usage rights. When a brand runs the post as an ad, we add 30% to 50%, the range in Later's 2026 pricing guide.
Pins, reposts, Stories and Linktree. These are the fixed fees Oakgill pays creators by tier: 3K to 15K, 15K to 50K, and 50K to 150K followers. There's no market survey for pins and reposts yet, because almost nobody sells them.
What it can't know. Niche, audience location, content quality and how much work the brief needs all change real prices. Treat the result as a starting point for the conversation, not a quote.
Common questions
How much should a creator charge for a sponsored Reel?
Later's 2025 Creator Rates Report puts a starting fee for one Reel at $100 to $200 for nano creators (under 10K followers), $200 to $1,000 for micro creators (10K to 100K), $1,500 to $5,000 for mid-tier (100K to 500K) and $5,000 to $7,000 or more for macro creators. Engagement, niche and usage rights move the price within those ranges.
How much is a pinned comment worth?
Most creators have never priced one. Oakgill pays creators $40 to $150 for pinning a brand's comment under a Reel they've already posted, depending on follower tier. The comment stays pinned for 30 days and is marked #ad.
What should I charge for a repost?
Instagram added reposts in August 2025, so there's no market rate yet. Oakgill pays $50 to $200 per repost, depending on tier. The creator reposts the brand's Reel with a short note that includes #ad, and it appears in their followers' feeds and on their Reposts tab.
Should creators charge more for usage rights?
Yes. When a brand wants to run your post as a paid ad (often called whitelisting), Later's 2026 guide says to add 30% to 50% to the base rate. Influee reports 20% to 50% for usage rights, and an exclusivity window of 90 days or more can double the fee.
Do brands pay nano influencers?
Yes. In Influencer Marketing Hub's 2026 benchmark report, about 55% of brands said they pay nano creators under $500. Collabstr's 2026 report found the average Instagram deal on its marketplace paid $193.
