Collabstr alternatives for small brands (2026)

Collabstr is a good marketplace. But it leaves the searching, briefing and chasing to you, and it's built around buying posts. Here are the alternatives, with their real prices.

Short answerThe main Collabstr alternatives for small brands are Insense and soona UGC for creator content, Afluencer for a low-cost marketplace, GRIN, Modash, Creator.co and Influencity for software that helps you find and manage creators yourself, and managed agencies if you'd rather not run campaigns in-house. Prices below were checked on each company's pricing page in October 2026.

We're Oakgill, an agency, so we're one of the options. We've kept ourselves to one short section at the end.

First, how Collabstr works

Collabstr is a creator marketplace. You search creators and hire them directly, or post a campaign and let them apply, and payment is held in escrow until you approve the work. Plans are Free, Pro at $249 a month (billed annually), Premium at $333 a month (billed annually) and Enterprise from $1,000 a month. Brands pay a 10% fee on each hire on Free and Pro, and 5% on Premium. The Free plan doesn't include campaigns or live post analytics.

People usually look elsewhere for one of three reasons: they want UGC to run as ads, they want software to manage creators at volume, or they don't want to manage creators at all.

If you want creator content for ads

Insense

A marketplace for UGC and creator ads, including Meta Partnership Ads. The Brand plan starts at $500 a month, or $400 billed annually, with a 10% marketplace fee; a Trial plan starts at $650 a month with a 20% fee. Creator payments are on top, and the Brand plan renews every three months.

soona UGC (formerly Trend)

soona bought Trend in 2023 and renamed it soona UGC in April 2026. Trend's credit packs start at $550 for up to six videos or 15 photos, and credits expire after 12 months. Since the product is mid-migration, check soona's current pricing before you buy.

Billo

A UGC video platform. Browsing creators is free, but pricing isn't public on its site any more, so you'll need to sign up to see it.

If you want a cheaper marketplace

Afluencer

Brands can post collaborations for free. The paid tiers are $49 a month for 60 invitation credits, Standard at $649 a month and Pro at $1,049 a month. Sending products and paying influencers through the platform starts at Standard, which needs a demo.

If you want software to run it yourself

GRIN

Now self-serve and month-to-month, with no annual contract. Plans are Free, Starter at $200, Growth at $500 and Scale at $1,000 a month. AI matching, outreach and reports run on credits, and the Free plan can't buy more.

Modash

A database of public Instagram, TikTok and YouTube accounts with over 1K followers, with a close Shopify integration. Essentials is $199 a month billed annually ($299 month-to-month) and Performance is $499. Modash says it's a platform only, so finding and managing creators is still your job.

Creator.co

Self Serve is $199 a month billed annually ($299 monthly), and Managed is $1,499 a month billed annually ($2,199 monthly). Paying monthly locks you in for three months on Self Serve and six on Managed.

Influencity

A creator database with campaign management and reporting. Its help center lists Basic at $168, Professional at $348 and Business at $698 a month, with a seven-day trial.

If you have a bigger budget

Aspire, Upfluence, #paid and Popular Pays (owned by Lightricks) only show pricing through a demo. Upfluence's annual plans have a 12-month minimum. They're built for teams running large programs, which is more than most small brands need.

How to choose

  • You need ads that look native: Insense or soona UGC.
  • You have time but little budget: Afluencer, or Collabstr's Free plan.
  • You're building a program in-house: GRIN or Modash.
  • You don't want to manage creators at all: a managed option, like Creator.co's Managed plan or an agency.

Where Oakgill fits

We're a managed agency, but we don't sell what the tools above sell. Instead of buying one sponsored post per creator, we place your brand in the spots most creators never price: your comment pinned under their Reels, your own Reel reposted to their followers, and Story links when you want clicks. Five hand-picked creators in your niche, from $1,100, every placement marked #ad. Here's how it works, or see our packages.

Get your brand pinned across five creators this month

Pinned comments and reposts across hand-picked creators in your niche, every placement marked #ad. From $750.
